Samurai: Way of the Warrior App Reviews

The game is ok. The story is cool, and its told in a comic book style with original art, which actually lloks pretty good. The fighting can sometimes be annoying though. Sometimes i try to do combos but they dont come out, and you fight so many people at once. Eventually it gets frustrating it just gets a little to difficult.

Love the game! Finished the game on all levels and I still play it on Executioner for fun... My only complaint is the slow controler reaction/freezing that happens. Give us a sequel and improve the control time. Overall awesome game for free(at least when I got it :) lol

The control is horrible, combo is practically non existence. I gave a 3 star simply because of the way the enemies are sliced up in all 3 dimensions

Wicked game, fast paced, and little hard to control. Other than that I love it.

The game story is fine I guess like any other samurai story.the voices are bad they sound weird.the gameplay take some getting use to but its alright I guess.

I bought this app after playibg awhile at the Samurai Dojo App. Unfortunately the absence of the virtual joystick and the Game playable only on portrait view, reduces a lot the fun. Swiping the finger converts this game in a boting task onstead of great time of leisure. Lost my $0.99!

Bought this game and there is no virtual joystick or buttons and stays in portrait mode I want landscape

The graphics and action are stunningly beautiful. The controls and combos are challenging and deep. Handling the sword takes and responds to skill. Absolutely love it.

No landscape mode and no controls on the screen???? They should be ashamed of releasing such crap .

Wow, been looking for a game like this on iOS for while. Though the sequel might be slightly prettier, I personally prefer the touch controls of the original. Either way, the is an excellent Sengoku-era adventure that is as beautiful to look at as it is to play. For a buck, you simply cannot do better.

Vertical mode with swipes is great too. Its got something to it. There should be two modes available, horizontal like in 2nd part and this vertical one. Can you make graphics better? Like the II has.

Also thanks for putting the sequel on the blackberry PB. You should put shadowgun on there to.

Reminds me of Afro Samurai. It has that feel if I play the entire Wu-Tang Clan: Enter the 36 Chambers album in the background!

You cant change controls...and cant move the screens. Do not buy

The game has a good story but the controls are really bad. Samurai 2 Vengences controls are much better, could you please fix the controls.
